Switching to Everyday Rewards

Show Hide
Why is Everyday Rewards launching in Tasmania?

To ensure Tasmanians have access to the great benefits enjoyed by the rest of Australia.

Can I be a part of both programs?

Unfortunately not, you can only be a part of one program at any one time.

If you choose to sign up to Everyday Rewards, we will transfer your Frequent $hopper Club points across. Once the transfer is complete, your F$C account and card will be closed.

Why do I have to sign up again?

As Everyday Rewards is a new program in Tasmania, you'll be required to sign up as a new member to ensure you understand the benefits of the program, as well as the terms and conditions.

We also want to make sure we have all your details correct so you don't miss out on points boosters and extras that will get you more value.

Do I have to sign up to Everyday Rewards?

No, signing up to Everyday Rewards is your own choice. Please note that you can only participate in one program at a time: Frequent $hopper Club or Everyday Rewards.

How is Everyday Rewards different to Frequent $hopper Club?

With Everyday Rewards you can:
• Collect 1 point per dollar for every* dollar you spend
• Plus, collect up to 10 points for every* dollar you spend through points boosters
• No need to wait for a monthly Double Point Day! You could receive multiple points boosters in a week.
• Collect points at more partners: Woolworths, BWS and BIG W
• Have more choices for how you enjoy your points: enjoy money off your shopping or convert to Qantas points
• Never miss a point: points boosters, extras (such as competitions) and faves (such as personalised weekly specials) send straight to your inbox and Everyday Rewards app

The key features of the Frequent $hopper Club that you won't have access to in Everyday Rewards are:
• Seniors earn rate will be removed
• Redemption amount will change. Instead of 1000 points = $10 off your shop, you'll need to collect 2000 points to receive $10 off your shop.
• Pooling of points will be removed

*There are a small number of purchases on which you won't collect points. For details, see this FAQ.

What is Everyday Rewards?

With Everyday Rewards, not only will you be able to collect one point for every* dollar you spend, you'll also have an opportunity to collect even more. You'll regularly receive boost offers through the Everyday Rewards app and in your inbox. These boost offers will give you the opportunity to collect up to 10 points for every* dollar you spend, give you access to competitions, free products, great prices on the products you buy and much more.^ All you need to do once you sign up for Everyday Rewards, is to make sure you subscribe to receiving emails from us, and download the Everyday Rewards app. You'll also have the opportunity to collect points and enjoy benefits with more partners. By being an Everyday Rewards member, you can collect points in-store or online at Woolworths, BWS and BIG W Australia-wide, plus at participating Caltex and Caltex Woolworths/EG (operated by Euro Garages Australia) in mainland Australia^. You'll also have more choice of how to use your Everyday Rewards points. You can either choose to enjoy your points through money off your shopping, or convert your points to Qantas Points, whatever suits your lifestyle the best.

*There are a small number of purchases on which you won't collect points. For details, see this FAQ.

^ Please note that Caltex Woolworths/EG (operated by Euro Garaged Australia) located in Tasmania are currently excluded from the Everyday Rewards Program. (This does not affect the way you are able to collect and enjoy your fuel discounts.) Go to everydayrewards.com.au/boost for more information.

Is Everyday Rewards the same as Woolworths Rewards?

Yes - From 29th July 2020, Woolworths Rewards is now Everyday Rewards, Australia wide.
It's our mission to meet the everyday needs of our members, beyond groceries, and so, we're continuing to evolve and expand our partners. So we felt the name "Everyday Rewards" better showed our commitment to providing our members more value, everyday.

Is Frequent $hopper Club closing down? / When do I need to sign up to Everyday Rewards by?

Yes, but to allow our members time to make a choice about switching to Everyday Rewards, this won't come into effect until 31 December or shortly thereafter.

Membership to Everyday Rewards will always be a choice. Should you not wish to switch over, you will be paid out the balance of your Frequent $hopper Club Rewards in a gift card when the program closes, and we will subsequently close your account.

Can I still register to be an Frequent $hopper Club member?

From the 29 July 2020 you won't be able to join the Frequent $hopper Club program. If you would still like to get more from your shop at Woolworths and much more, you can choose to join Everyday Rewards.

What if I don’t want to become an Everyday Rewards member?

The choice to sign up to Everyday Rewards is yours.

It is important to note that the F$C program will close on 31 December 2020 or shortly thereafter.
Once the program is closed, if you haven't chosen to transfer your FSC points balance to a new Everyday Rewards account, we will send you a gift card with the balance of your points to the address listed on your F$C account. Please log into your F$C account to make sure that your postal address is up to date so we can you send your gift card.

I live in Tasmania but already have a Woolworths Rewards account. Do I need to sign up again?

No, Woolworths Rewards is the same as Everyday Rewards. So if you already have a Woolworths Rewards/Everyday Rewards account, you'll now be able to use your card in-store and online to collect points at Woolworths, BWS and BIG W. For more information about the Everyday Rewards program and how you can make the most out of your everyday please go to everydayrewards.com.au/boost.

If you also have a F$C account, you can choose to roll this into your existing Everyday Rewards account. This will mean your F$C account will be closed and your balance transferred to your Everyday Rewards account. To do so please Contact Us.

How will my existing F$C points balance be transferred over?

Your existing Frequent $hopper Club balance will be transferred to Rewards at a rate that preserves the same value.

This means:
- stored Woolworths dollars (in increments of $10 Woolworths dollars) will transfer at the same rate (eg: if you have $20 Woolworths dollars in your FSC account, this will transfer over as $20 Everyday Rewards dollars into your Everyday Rewards account)
- points balances of less than a full 1000 points will transfer over at the rate of 2 Everyday Rewards points for every 1 transferred point (eg: if you had 500 points in your FSC account, this will transfer as 1000 Everyday Rewards points, or if you had 700 points in your FSC account, this will transfer as 1,400 Everyday Rewards points).

This balance transfer will be triggered by you joining Everyday Rewards, and in-putting your F$C number into the field provided. Please note that it may take up to 14 days from joining to complete the transfer. We will send you an email to confirm that the transfer has occurred. We will also email you if it is not successful as we may need you to call us so we can confirm your identity.

Please note that any bonus points for switching will be applied after you have scanned your Everyday Rewards card during your first qualifying shop. For full T&Cs for the bonus points offer, see this FAQ.
